I am a 35 year old mother of two children, my six year old daughter Maryn, and my three year old son Griffin. My husband Kyle and I have been married for seven years. We live in Shakopee, Minnesota with our dog, a yellow lab named Hannah, and a cat named Mr. Whiskers.
I grew up in Edina, Minnesota. Following graduation from high school, I attended Hamline University in St. Paul, but nothing "clicked" for me in terms of the path I wanted to follow. I obtained a real estate license, and worked in the real estate industry until the birth of my daughter. I have been a stay-at-home mom for the past six and a half years.
Over the past several years I have become passionate about childbirth and the care of babies and young children. I am fortunate to have trained with Mickey Mongan, the founder of HypnoBirthing, to become a certified HypnoBirthing practitioner. I attended doula training through DONA International in January 2007.
I am excited to be embarking on this journey, and I look forward to supporting you during this remarkable time in your life.
